Sample Name: La Alpujarra

Sample Description:The population sample from La Alpujarra (Granada mountains, Spain), consists of 82 males and 65 females who are unrelated, apparently healthy adults, and whose 4 grandparents originated in the same region. The Spanish sample was collected from different rural areas of the eastern part of La Alpujarra on the Mediterranean side of the Sierra Nevada in southeastern Spain.
