Sample Description:This sample consists of Pilaga individuals. The Pilaga are an Amerindian group inhabiting the southeastern part of the Gran Chaco, a subtropical region that occupies a portion of Paraguay, Bolivia, and northeastern Argentina. They are a Guaycuru-speaking tribe. This sample was collected in the province of Formosa, Argentina.
