Sample Description:This sample consists of mixed ancestry (commonly referred to as "coloured") subjects from South Africa. The coloured subjects are the result of intermarriages between races including Black Africans, Western Europeans, the Khoisan, Indonesians and Malaysians who settled in the Cape from the middle of the 17th Century.
