Polymorphism Description:  This site is adjacent to the APOA1, APOC3, APOA4 cluster: GenBank AC007707 and AP003070 at 11q23.3. This Alu insertion polymorphism is frequently referred to simply as APO, an unofficial name. It is located 4.3 kb upstream (telomeric) of the APOA1 gene.
