Sample Description: This sample consists of Basque from the Southern France region. The Basque origin was determined by the site of birth of the four grandparents of the subjects. The age of the study group ranged from 1 month to 90years. The study was approved by the Human Subjects Ethics Committee of the Medical Centers in Bayonne, France and in Tel Hashomer, Israel.
