Sample Name: Kalash

Sample UID: SA000828S

Sample Description:This sample consists of native Kalash individuals collected mainly from the Bumburet, Birir and Rambur villages in northwestern Pakistan. The Biomedical & Genetic Engineering Laboratories in Islamabad, Pakistan is the source of the sample.

Number of Chromosomes: 102

Sample Name: Kalash

Sample UID: SA001910L

Sample Description:This sample consists of unrelated Kalash from the Hindu mountains and speak an Indo-European language.

Number of Chromosomes: 140

Sample Information:

Sample Name: Kalash, HGDP-CEPH

Sample UID: SA001481O

Sample Description:This sample from Pakistan is part of the Human Genome Diversity Cell Line Panel collected by the Human Genome Diversity Project (HGDP) and the Foundation Jean Dausset (CEPH). This sample consists of unrelated individuals and was collected with proper informed consent.

Note: In many publications subset H952 of the HGDP panel (with first and second degree relatives excluded from the original set) was typed and for this population that decreases the sample size from 25 to 23 individuals. For the subset H971 of the HGDP panel with the first degree relatives excluded this decreases the sample size from 25 to 24.

Number of Chromosomes: 50
