Sample Description: This sample consists of Japanese individuals from the Ryukyu cluster. This is the name of the kingdom that once existed as a chain of islands including Okinawa. This sample is part of the BioBank Japan Project . This project was approved by the ethical committees at the Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo and the Center for Genomics Medicine, Institutes of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN).
