Sample Description: This sample was collected by Dr.Lotfi Cherni and consists of unrelated individuals with a diverse mixed Arab, Berber, and other ancestry from Sousse, Central Tunisia.Sousse is a coastal city of central Tunisia that was founded in Phoenician times; the city is located in the Sousse governate of modern Tunisia.Migrants settled here from many parts of northern and southern Tunisia. Berbers are indigenous peoples of North Africa that are culuturally and ethnically heterogeneous. The two main Berber groups in Tunisia are the Zenata and Ketama tribes.
