Sample Description: This sample consists of Jing individuals from Guangxi Province, China.

Jing (or Gin) are ethnic minority who live in southeastern China; They immigrated from Vietnam hundreds of years ago. The native name, Kinh, simply means Vietnamese people; they speak Vietnamese dialect influenced by Yue Chinese and Mandarin Chinese. Approx 20,000 or so; Mainly live on three islands off the coast of Dongxing, Fangchenggang, Guangxi. Zhuang Autonomous Region.
