Sample Description: This sample consists of Tatar individuals, a major Turkic speaking group in the Russian Volga-Ural region. To limit influence of admixture this sample included villagers who reportedly were settled in the sample place for at least three generations (up to grandparents) .This sample is part of the "core" data set that were genotyped for this study.
