Sample Description: This sample consists of DNA of Turkmen individuals from Northern Iraq. Most of the individuals in this sample are from Erbil, Iraq.This sample was collected by Mustafa Dogan (PhD supervisor is Serkan Dogan) at the International Burch University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. DNA isolations from the samples were carried out in Dr.Cemal Gurkan's Turkish Cypriot DNA Laboratory (TCDL), Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus Turkish Cypriot Member Office, Nicosia, North Cyprus, Cyprus. The DNA for this sample was provided to Dr.Kenneth Kidd lab at Yale by Dr.Gurkan
