Sample Description: This sample contains Komi-Zyrian living in the village of Kazak on the Kazak River. The Kazak River is the right tributary of the Ob River (near the Ural Mountains). The donors along with three past generations were born in the taiga area and nearby villages. This sample of Komi rely heavily on fishing and hunting and dress in traditional clothing. This sample was collected by E.L. Grigorenko.
